Jimmy Carter Speaks on U.S.-China Relations

Here is a talk given by Pres. Carter at Emory University on the subject of U.S.-China relations.

There is great history here, including the story of secret negotiations in 1978 which led to the normalization of relations between the United States and what had once been called Red China.

He also speaks on the modernization of the Chinese economy, and the Chinese contribution to global warming.

Fascinating and informative.

  1. Here is more news of interest from Pres. Carter. The former President is involved in a healing effort within the Baptist Church regarding race relations. He sees new racial problems as being related to the election of the first African-American President. Pres. Carter's comments on the political situation surrounding the Trump candidacy are spot-on.
