In an outrageous usurpation of authority and in violation of the Sixth Amendment, at least two U.S. soldiers are being held in prison with little contact with the outside world. Let me emphasize these are American soldiers being held by our own military for, in one case, refusing to deploy to the battlefield due to reasons of conscience, and in the other, for going AWOL in order to support his family.
