Note to MSNBC

 Dear “Weeknight:”*

Follow the money.  You are already partly there as you report on the hidden donors who are contributing $230 million to the ballroom which is set to replace the destroyed East Wing of the White House.  

This alone is a big story. But to tag on, there is the far more important story, and that is how such a man as we now have ever got into the White House.  Money is a big part of the problem. But motive is a bigger part.  MSNBC has begun to delve into this matter. 

Fox News is another thing entirely. But there is corruption there, as well as in the White House.  As has often been said in the past - -  “Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

Musicians can, and do inspire. Paul Stookey, known as 1– third of the folk – revival group Peter, Paul and Mary, is one such artist. I was not aware of his active stance on peace issues. But active he is, as shown at the website link to below.  Stookey understands the importance of our times. Yes, we live in very challenging times.  But it is also an era of opportunity. More and more people are finding their voice as they learn more and more. What do you say we join Paul Stookey and lift our voices in whatever appropriate way we can in support of peace and justice for all?

“No King in America” say millions of Americans

 Americans of every stripe turned out on Saturday all across America to say unequivocally they don’t want a king in America. Through a mix of serious and humorous millions of Americans showed up to demonstrate dramatically against the Trump regime.  

Truly, this is a fight for democracy, not just against a man. But the message was clear: “No king in America!”

Story suppressed?: 16 workers killed in Tennessee military plant

 Tragic loss of life is to be mourned anywhere. But this case is different, according to report.it seems this event which occurred on Friday, October 10, is either being suppressed or buried in newspapers, and in the media. One newspaper did publish a story on the front page, according to the report. But others have either buried it in back pages or ignored it complete ignored it completely.

Perhaps mention here will begin to right this wrong. May the memory of these workers be eternal.
