Your writer has been away for a couple of days for performance followed by a bit of relaxation.
On Sunday I performed at The Sweet Life Winery in a near-by town. As a performer, with electronic keyboard in tow, I arrive and give a one-man-band show. The audience at Sunday's event, though small, was gracious and several people "really got into it" as they say. One woman was both fan and heckler. There was nothing malicious and the alcohol didn't necessarily bring out the best in this particular person. However, everyone was essentially well-behaved and appeared to have a good time, including this performer.
It is quite amazing the effect music can have in such a situation. I am grateful for the gift of music and the effect it can have on others.
