This name goes back to the days when people believed in witches.  In Ireland there’s a story which says that a witch could turn into a cat and regain her real self eight times, but on the ninth time — August 17 — she could not change back, and thus began her final life forever as a cat.  Thus the saying, “a cat has nine lives.“

Judge and Constitutional Scholar Calls Supreme Court Presidential Immunity Decision “Reprehensible”

Where are the masses of the American people supporting this current Supreme Court majority? Where are the masses rising up to praise the Supreme Court for creating a president who can maneuver to rise above the law?

The answer is, they’re not rising up because such a mass of people simply does not exist. Of course, this has not stopped the fascist majority from attempting to hollow out our principle of no one being above the law.   May certain proposed reforms of the Supreme Court come to fruition,  and in a near time.
